The first National Aimhigher Primary Conference will be held on Tuesday 28th February 2006 at the the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Liverpool.

The conference is aimed at practitioners and managers and will focus on Higher and Further Education working with Primary Schools.

The schedule for the conference includes:

• Welcome from Professor Kelvin Everest, Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor, The University of Liverpool.

• Higher and further education working strategically in primary schools from Tricia Jenkins, Head of Widening Participation, The University of Liverpool.

• A talk on the impact of widening participation activities on pupils, parents and a primary school with Katherine Ramsey from Roberts Primary School.

• Prioritising primary activities within Aimhigher Partnerships by Emy Onuora, Director, Aimhigher Greater Merseyside.
